Crossway Community Thrift Store is a non-profit organization based in Canmore which provides its customers with a great place to shop for affordable necessities such as furniture, clothing and much much more.

Not only a store, but the money spent at the thrift store goes back into the community. By shopping and donating you help fund local school scholarships, subsidized homegrown sports teams, and provide props & costumes for community theatre projects. Two of our biggest projects are the Jacket Frost and Back to School programs which have also been helping families for more than 10 years.

The Thrift Store is a social hub in Canmore, where on any given day, friends and neighbors meet while dropping off donations or shopping. We are well-regarded as part of the Bow Valley's recycling efforts and are grateful to a very supportive community which provides us with fantastic items which we can offer as a "green" alternative to other retail shopping. We have had visitors from as far away as Europe, from the southern U.S and Asia; be sure to put us on your "things to do in the Canadian Rockies" list!

We Need Your Help

Our store has the same overhead costs as any other store; profit or non-profit. In fact, with thrift store prices and the same overhead, we could not stay open without our amazing volunteers! Additional programs rely on the help of others in our communtity like you.

Glad you asked. Victory Thrift Store is a second-hand store that sells furniture, housewares, clothing, collectibles and just about everything else you can imagine. We are a group of community minded people doing whatever we can to make the Bow Valley the best it can be!

Over a decade ago a garage sale was held through the Rocky Mountain Victory Church to collect enough funds to make up Christmas Hampers for families in need. People have never stopped giving us their treasures, and we've never stopped helping people.

Yes, Crossway Community Thrift Store is a non-profit organization.  But we rely on you, your donations, your volunteering and your shopping at our store to "help us help others". We do this through a number of different programs which you can learn more about on this website or by contacting us at the store.
